Meiko signs with MySpace Records!!!

Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter
Meiko has signed with MySpace Records/DGC, who will release her debut album later this summer in partnership with Lucky Ear Music (Meiko's own indie label).
The talented artist's recent self-release was a #1 Folk Album on iTunes, with over 200,000 song downloads, regular airplay on tastemaker KCRW-FM, and key placements in prime-time TV shows including "Grey's Anatomy".
Meiko was the focus of intense label interest with most of the US-based majors for the past 12 months and signed a deal with Luke Wood (Interscope/DGC) and Jon Pikus (MySpace Records).

Scarlett Johanssen is this weeks #1 Heatseeker though I'm sure she hoped to be topping the big kid's chart (yeah right). We The Kings are still tearing things up and should continue this pace all the way to the Billboard Top 100.
